Summer break for Satellite bases

The satellite bases are now taking a break over the summer.

All three bases will start up again in early September, week commencing 6th September. So the 7th September for the Buxton base and the 8th Septmeber for the Derby and Chesterfield bases.

British Sprint Champs

Congratulations once more to Liz Godfree for becoming the British Sprint Champion for W60 winning by over four minutes overall.

Podium places also for Nathan Lawson 2nd on M14 and Harriet Lawson 3rd on W16

UK Cup Final

Just to complete a winning weekend Liz Godfree took the first place honours on W55+ at the UK Cup final urban race around the MOD depot at Stafford.

Revised British Relays teams

New orienteering bases

DVO now has 3 bases for weekly meetings and training opportunities.
1. Tuesdays  BUXTON 6.30 to 8.00pm Gothic Hall Buston Community School.
2 Wednesdays  CHESTERFIELD 6.30 to 8.00pm  St Marys High School, Newbold Rd.
3. Wednesday DERBY  6.30 to 8.00pm Darley Barn, Darley Park, by The Abbey Pub.
Check out the Satellite section of the website for further details.
 
Please note this means that the regular run from Mackervoys in Allestree will change to be at Darley Barn at 7p.m. Apart from 21st April at Darley Barn, 1st and 3rd Wednesdays will continue to be from the Johnsons in Belper
