DVO Junior Rules |
DVO is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being
of all its members. As outlined in the Code of Ethics, the Club believes that it is important that members, coaches, and parents associated with the Club should, at all times, show respect for each other, be encouraged to be open and to share any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the Club with the committee.
As a member of DVO Juniors you are expected to abide by the code of conduct especially remembering:
· All members should compete within the rules of orienteering.
· All members should respect other participants.
· Members should keep to agreed timings for training and competitions or inform the coaches if they are going to be late.
· Members should have suitable equipment and clothing for training and events, as agreed with the coaches.
· Junior members are not allowed to smoke, or to consume alcohol or drugs of any kind, at coaching and training sessions or when representing the Club in competitions
