By Car:

From the A6 at Cromford crossroads (2 miles south of Matlock) follow Mill Road/Lea Road for 1½ miles, to Lea Bridge (SK318564), from where the event will be signed.

Parking is at High Leas Farm, in an open field away from the road. Please do not exceed 10mph on farm track.

Parking fee £1. The parking fee will fund a project to plant new trees on Riber Hillside. (DVO members have planted over 100 trees of broadleaf variety already in the wood)
By Public Transport:

Bus service 140 (Matlock - Alfreton) or 141 (Matlock - Ripley) to Lea crossroads, then 20 minute walk.Trains hourly to/from Nottingham and Derby to Cromford or Matlock Bath. Steep walk 15 min walk uphill Contact organiser for advice
Cost

£3 adults
£1 and £5 for families.

Courses White, yellow, Orange and Challenge Technical* course The challenge course will consist of three loops from a central point.

* As technical as the area allows
Terrain

Steep woodland with open areas, areas of contour detail, many line features. Little undergrowth but can be slippery.
Whistles must be carried. Competitors take part at their own risk

  Dogs not allowed on courses, and must be kept on a lead in the car park, as there will be sheep grazing.
