Derwent Valley Orienteers Local Orienteering Events in Derbyshire

A series of low key orienteering events ideal for beginners, novices, families and school teams
with courses for more experienced orienteers. 
Help and tuition available.  All these dates are Saturdays except New Year’s Day.

As they are only low key events we would appreciate a phone call if you are bringing a large group.

Entry fees £3.00 adults, £1.00 juniors (up to age 20)

26^th January 2008 – Poolsbrook Country Park, Staveley.

23^rd February – Farley Moor, Matlock. Map reference SK300630. 
From centre of Matlock turn right off old A6 Matlock to Buxton road just beyond old bus station towards Farley,
from Derby go past Sainsbury’s, right at r’bt, then left.

15^th March – Bottom Moor, Matlock. Map reference SK324633. 
Turn left off A632 Matlock to Chesterfield road 3 miles from Matlock

19^th April – Shipley Country Park Heanor.
Brown tourist signs to right off A608 Derby to Heanor road approaching Heanor SK430450.

21^st June – Elvaston Country Park, Borrowash.
